(Afghani Food) We ordered the Qabeli Palaw and it was absolutely outstanding. The rice was long-grain, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, with just the right balance of sweetness from the raisins and thinly sliced carrots. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the portion size was incredibly generous — truly a dish made for sharing. The naans were warm and soft, and the side dishes complemented the meal nicely. Delicious food in a well lit restaurant. Cute and cozy. The two of us had the mandu and super combo delux, it was more than enough food for us. Both came with a side of naan and were absolutely delicious. Will come back here with the small humans.

Excellent food. Their lamb shank with Kabuli pulao is probably the test in Fairfax city. Their portions are fairly large and comes with a Flatbread and a side. Would strongly recommend visiting this place!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fairfax Kabob!!! I recently tried the Kabuli Pulao at Fairfax Kabob, and it was absolutely delicious! The rice was perfectly cooked—soft, fluffy, and full of rich, authentic Afghan flavors. The tender lamb on top melted in my mouth, and the sweet carrots and raisins added the perfect balance to the dish. The portion was generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the aroma alone made me excited to dig in. If you love flavorful, well-seasoned food, this is a must-try. Definitely one of the best Kabuli Pulaos I’ve had in the area. Highly recommend!

Fairfax Kabob offers the most genuine Middle Eastern cuisine I've experienced in Northern Virginia. The portion sizes are enormous. The flavors are delightful, not overpowering, and enjoyable with every bite. The owners are exceptionally courteous. You receive attentive service throughout your dining experience. The chef infused our food with a sense of motherly care. Although we were too full to enjoy the homemade desserts, I highly recommend the baklava. While the meals are on the pricier side, I assure you will want to return every time! I wasn't a huge fan of the spinach due to the amount of oil in the dish, but it did taste wonderful. **We ordered one Lamb Kabob platter and one Lamb-Chicken Kabob platter. Each dish is accompanied by 12-inch Afghan bread.

Everything was fantastic, really good and delicious. They are so kind, respectful and so social. I highly recommend that everyone at least try one time the Kabuly Palaw.

Delicious from the first bite! This was my first time at Fairfax Kabob, and I was truly impressed. The kabobs were juicy and full of flavor, and the Qaboli Palaw was absolutely perfect soft rice, tender meat, and amazing taste. You can really feel the authenticity in every dish. The staff was welcoming, the service was quick, and the food quality was outstanding. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
